If you are looking to book the Church Centre for a one-off event but are not a regular member of the parish, this is the place for you to be.

Each booking is finalised with a 10 % booking fee, plus a £20 retention fee, which will be returned provided that the centre is left clean and tidy when it is finished with.
One-off bookings are also subject to an additional £15 caretaker’s fee.

Applying for a license to serve alcohol
If you are interested in hiring the hall and wish to to serve alcohol, there are two ways that you can go about doing so.
If you are planning a small event, and are not intending to charge money for the event then it shoud not be a problem, although wise to check when you make a booking.
However, if you intend to serve alcohol at an event and charge for it, then you need to apply for a Temporary Event Notice from Birmingham City Council at least ten working days before your event takes place. In addition, the event cannot have more that 500 people attending it. To apply for this Temporary Event notice (or T.E.N.), click the following link Birmingham City Council – Temporary Event Notice
Scroll to the bottom of the page where there is a form that can be downloaded. Print it off, fill it in and return it by post, in person or online. There is a charge of £21 for every application.
Please note – if you do not have A T.E.N., you will not be allowed to charge for selling alcohol at an event.
Booking prices for regular bookings or church members
If you are looking to hold a regular (i.e. every week or fortnight) event and wish to see prices for booking the hall this is the right place for you to be.

Booking the Church for a baptism service
Firstly, if you are simply wanting to be baptised as Aston Parish Church as part of a usual Sunday morning service, and are part of the Parish of Aston and Nechells, these costs do not apply.

However, if you are another church wishing to make use of the church and hold a baptism service in the church on a different day of the week or at a different time of day to our normal service, the following charges apply:
- There is a £35 charge for the verger, who will ensure that the church is presentable for the service.
- Due to the fact the pool water has to be heated for at least 24 hours before the service takes place, there is a charge of £20 for this
- If the PA system is needed, a further £35 is required for the PA operator. This charge will include use of the PA system (including microphones and radio microphones if needed) and also use of the projector should it be needed.
- In winter, the building needs to be heated. Costs for this are as follows:
For attendance under 40 people – Contribution to heating building: £30*
For attendance of over 40 people – Contribution to heating building: £50*
(*This charge is applicable from 1 November to 30 April)
This means that there is a cost of between £55 and £140, depending on what facilities are used.
